About The Position

ITTConnect is seeking a Senior Telecom Integration Architect to work on a client's project. This person needs to be based in Saint Louis, MO for on site work. We are seeking a senior, hands-on Telecom Architect to step into a critical enterprise integration project.

Requirements

• Total Experience: 10+ years in IT/Software Architecture, with at least 5+ years as a Lead or Principal Integration Architect within the Telecommunications vertical.
• Proven track record of delivering complex integrations for OSS/BSS transformation programs and automated Service Activation pipelines.
• Strong practical experience applying TOGAF principles (certification is highly preferred).
• Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, gRPC, GraphQL, Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and cloud integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Azure Integration Services).
• Strong familiarity with TM Forum frameworks (Frameworx, TAM, eTOM, SID, Open APIs).
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills; ability to explain complex technical realities to non-technical business executives.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for deconstructing legacy technical debt.

Nice To Haves

• Experience leading integration of telecom companies merging operations.
• TOGAF 9.x or 10 Certified.
• TM Forum Certified Professional.
• Cloud Architecture Certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise-wide integration architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and cloud-first initiatives.
• Apply the TOGAF framework to govern architectural artifacts, principles, and transition states.
• Architect end-to-end integration patterns (API-first, event-driven architectures, microservices, and batch patterns) across complex telco ecosystems.
• Lead the design and integration of core OSS/BSS platforms (e.g., CRM, Billing, Charging, Order Management, Inventory, and Network Assurance).
• This role will work on the integration of applications between two telecommunications companies, due to their merger.
