About The Position

GEICO's Auto Product Management Department is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the State Management Analytics team. You will be at the pulse of the company’s growth and profitability data each day, with a focus on learning insurance product strategy, performing data analysis using robust datasets, collaborating with members throughout the department, and communicating your findings to key stakeholders.

Requirements

2(+) years experience with Pricing or Product/State Management analytical experience in the insurance industry.
Experience working with tools and data used in pricing/product analyses (EDW-C, Snowflake, SAS, SQL, etc.)
Effective time management, oral & written communication, problem-solving, and creative thinking abilities
Proven analytical, mathematical, and data management skills
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Intellectual curiosity to learn and ability to ask insightful questions

Responsibilities

Developing, preparing, and interpreting statistical analyses of insurance sales, claims experience, or other key business metrics to help support strategic decisions within the business unit
Collaborating with analysts, supervisors, and state managers throughout projects.
Presenting analysis and proposals to various stakeholder groups to help solve critical business problems in pursuit of company goals
Designing and executing monitoring plans for new product changes.
