About The Position

Eye Security is providing cybersecurity with embedded cyber insurance solutions for organizations in Europe. Headquartered in the Netherlands, we’re 170 FTEs and growing internationally! About the Role You will join the Eye Underwriting insurance team as an early-career professional, supporting the daily operations that keep our insurance business running. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will get hands-on exposure to policy administration, broker communication, and insurer reporting from day one. This is a unique chance not only to deep dive into the rapidly evolving commercial cyber insurance market, but also to participate in a transformation project where we will further digitise our policy administration and underwriting processes. This is an ideal entry point for someone early in their career — including dual-study graduates — who wants to grow fast in a dynamic, international scale-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or completed dual study (BBL / duale Ausbildung) in insurance, business, finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance — underwriting, policy administration, or insurance operations
• Good organisational skills: you manage your own tasks and know when to ask for input on complex challenges
• Fluent in Dutch or German and in English (written and spoken)
• Detail-oriented and reliable — you take ownership of data accuracy, deadlines, and quality of work
• You love working in or learning digital tools; any experience with insurance platforms (e.g. Insly, ANVA) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Policy administration: creating, issuing and updating policies, endorsements, renewals, and client documentation.
• Premium administration: issuing invoices, processing payments, monitoring outstanding premiums, and coordinating with Finance.
• Communication with brokers and clients: sending renewal requests, collecting questionnaires, requesting updates, and providing policy documents.
• Bordereaux & reporting: preparing and submitting monthly bordereaux and other required reports to insurers, ensuring data accuracy and meeting reporting deadlines.
• Compliance: performing UBO checks, storing compliance documentation, and supporting audits.
• Data management: ensuring that client files, documents, questionnaires, and information are complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Process & system support: maintaining work instructions, supporting ANVA/Insly processes, and reporting issues or improvement points.
• General operational support: prioritising tasks, supporting underwriting, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• You will be part of the project team responsible for implementing our new insurance platform.
