Requirements

5–7+ years of insurance defense experience (required)
Active Georgia Bar license (required)
Experience handling time-sensitive demand responses strongly preferred
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines consistently
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

Handle and respond to time-limited conditional demands with precision and urgency
Draft and review: pleadings motions briefs affidavits settlement agreements legal correspondence
Conduct legal research and develop strategic responses to complex insurance matters
Advise clients (primarily insurance carriers) on risk, exposure, and resolution strategies
Negotiate settlements and support favorable outcomes for clients
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to meet deadlines
Clearly explain legal strategies to non-legal clients
Maintain well-organized and up-to-date case files
