Purpose: We are currently recruiting for a Senior Instrumentation Engineer - Nuclear. Our team includes world-class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Markham, Ontario. The candidate will lead design project of high risk and complexity for the Instrumentation & Control discipline and interface well with the customer and coordinate with the rest of the project team. Take responsibility for the Instrumentation & Control engineering and design team assigned to, and their design output to quality, cost and schedule requirements for specific projects. Support the Technical Integrity role for the Instrument & Control (I&C) discipline. Ensure all engineering and design work performed adjusts to quality, cost, and schedule requirements. Ensure all design work is safe and carried out in a safe manner. Ensure all design work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client, or to agreed industry standards. Self-motivated individuals with a desire to solve complex engineering problems, show effective team leadership and communication skills will be ideally suitable for this role. You will be part of a growing team that is embedded in the transformation of Ontario’s Nuclear fleet, working on critical projects, some of the most ambitious clean energy programs in the world.
