About The Position

We are currently seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Automation Engineer - Onsite to join our team in Canton, Massachusetts (US-MA), United States (US). We are looking for a seasoned Infrastructure & Automation Engineer with 8+ years of hands‑on experience supporting, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise‑grade infrastructure environments. This role is ideal for a technical expert who thrives in Unix/Linux ecosystems, excels in scripting, and can ensure secure, reliable, and compliant platform operations. You will play a key role in maintaining critical infrastructure components, automating operational workflows, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting secure integrations across multiple systems and environments. This position is critical to ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our core infrastructure. You will be the go‑to expert for scripting, automation, secure integrations, and platform reliability — directly influencing operational excellence and long‑term scalability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure maintenance, administration, and scripting.
• Deep expertise in Unix/Linux, including system administration and performance troubleshooting.
• Strong proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting and Perl Scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with SSL, SSH, certificate creation, renewal, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Oracle JMS, Tibco EMS, and enterprise messaging systems.
• Solid understanding of secure file transfer and network communication protocols.
• Knowledge of encryption standards and secure communication practices.
• Experience working in both Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, own technical problems, and collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical teams.

Nice To Haves

• Support cloud‑based integrations across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and enhance Unix/Linux‑based infrastructure environments.
• Develop and optimize automation scripts using Unix Shell and Perl to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates, SSH configurations, and secure communication protocols.
• Support and troubleshoot Oracle JMS, Tibco EMS, and related messaging integrations.
• Ensure secure data transfer using protocols such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2.
• Apply strong knowledge of encryption standards including SSL/TLS and PGP.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and integration issues.
• Work across Unix/Linux and Windows environments to support hybrid infrastructure needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation enhancements, and operational best practices.
