About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Technology Security Analyst to join our team and support the security of our enterprise IT environment. In this critical role, you will be responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of WorkplaceNl’s IT infrastructure, including network infrastructure, LAN/WAN, communication systems, IT infrastructure, servers, business applications, databases, and cloud services. You will play a key role in implementing security controls, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with organizational security policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in an enterprise IT security environment
  • Hands-on experience with network security technologies, cloud environments, and infrastructure security
  • Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment and risk management practices
  • Experience with Fortinet security technologies

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the security of network infrastructure, servers, cloud services, and applications
  • Administer and manage security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection
  • Perform daily monitoring and administration of Fortinet security platforms and related tools
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments across infrastructure and applications
  • Analyze and assess risks related to firewalls, intrusion systems, VPNs, and other security controls
  • Ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities and risks
  • Provide expert technical advice to IT teams, management, and project stakeholders
  • Ensure changes to systems and applications do not compromise security
  • Support secure design and implementation of new initiatives
  • Support response to security incidents and threats
  • Perform forensic analysis using system logs and technical data
  • Assist in remediation and recovery efforts
  • Enforce IT security policies, standards, and procedures
  • Support internal and external audits, including IT controls reviews
  • Contribute to development of network and security strategies, plans, and disaster recovery initiatives
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams and staff
  • Respond to service desk requests related to network and security issues
  • Collaborate across business units to strengthen security practices
