Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 10 years of experience; additional experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Experience reviewing, approving, and developing security plans for IT systems
  • Experience implementing measures to protect systems against unauthorized access, modification, destruction, or disclosure
  • Demonstrated understanding of information systems, system development, network architecture, and cybersecurity principles
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Experience briefing technical and non-technical audiences

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting system accreditation or authorization processes
  • Knowledge of RMF, NIST, and cybersecurity compliance frameworks
  • Experience supporting intelligence community customers
  • Security certification such as CISSP, GSLC, or equivalent
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams

Responsibilities

  • Support system owners and project managers through cybersecurity approval and compliance processes
  • Review technical architectures, deployment methodologies, and network designs
  • Interpret cybersecurity and data protection requirements for stakeholders
  • Ensure cybersecurity requirements are integrated throughout the system lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain security documentation and compliance artifacts
  • Assess system risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Provide cybersecurity guidance to engineers and non-technical partners
  • Support security reviews, audits, and accreditation activities
