About The Position

As a Senior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE), you will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to the customer by offering security engineering, compliance, and advisory work. This role supports the rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space-based cyber adversarial threats. The ideal candidate is a leader and problem-solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results within a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and minimum of 18 years’ related professional experience; Or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and minimum 10 years' related professional experience
CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification
Experience with tooling such as ACAS/Nessus, Splunk, or similar SIEM experience
Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Must have IAT Level II

Nice To Haves

A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired
Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience
Experience with Defensive Cyber Operations

Responsibilities

Has an in-depth understanding of the cybersecurity policies and procedures for government sector information systems and sufficient technical knowledge and experience to implement them.
Provides hands-on security and compliance guidance and work with Scrum Masters and product owners in concert with system requirements that are being developed and implementing cloud computing.
RMF/ATO process support
Security architecture review and assessment
DevSecOps pipeline security integration (fits the Platform One/IL5 environment)
Coordination with the Government ISSM/ISSO
