About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to support the continued evolution of Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations. This role will help strengthen operational processes, support control execution, analyze data and trends, and partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement across IAM workflows. The ideal candidate brings strong operational discipline, analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements, process documentation, and actionable recommendations. This individual should be comfortable working across business, risk, technology, and product teams to support IAM initiatives, improve efficiency, and help drive consistent execution. This role requires someone who can operate independently on assigned workstreams, identify issues and trends, support remediation activities, and contribute to process improvements while escalating risks, blockers, and decisions appropriately.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with tools or platforms such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, Saviynt, CyberArk, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST, SOX, PCI)
  • Ability to interact with various layers of leadership

Responsibilities

  • Support IAM Operations initiatives by analyzing processes, data, controls, and workflows to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with the execution of IAM operational processes, including access management, identity lifecycle activities, access reviews, and issue remediation.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, procedures, reporting, and operational artifacts to support consistency and transparency.
  • Partner with business, technology, risk, and product teams to gather requirements, track progress, and support delivery of IAM enhancements.
  • Analyze metrics and operational data to identify trends, monitor performance, and provide insights that support decision-making.
  • Support control-related activities, including evidence gathering, walkthrough support, issue tracking, and remediation follow-up.
  • Help coordinate IAM-related projects, pilots, and process improvement efforts while ensuring milestones, risks, and dependencies are documented.
  • Support automation and workflow improvement opportunities by identifying manual processes, pain points, and potential efficiency gains.
  • Escalate operational issues, risks, delays, and blockers to leadership with clear facts, impact, and recommended next steps.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and working sessions to represent IAM Operations and support alignment across stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on operational effectiveness, control maturity, customer experience, and risk reduction.
