Senior Infoblox DDI Engineer
About The Position
NOVA-Dine is seeking a Senior Infoblox DDI Engineer to support the DES DODNet MES-NET program at Fort Meade, Maryland. The engineer will provide design, implementation, testing, integration, and sustainment support for enterprise Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) services in complex Department of Defense environments. The role works closely with network, cybersecurity, and operations teams to support reliable, secure, and scalable enterprise infrastructure services for DODNet modernization initiatives. The position includes administering and optimizing DDI services; developing and executing test and validation procedures; troubleshooting integration issues; supporting system migrations; preparing engineering documentation and operational procedures; and contributing to service improvements, automation, security compliance, sustainment, and lifecycle management. The engineer also provides technical guidance to engineering and operations personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 8 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree and 6 years of relevant experience.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
- Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE) certification.
- Minimum 8 years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure and DDI environments.
- Strong experience administering Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management platforms.
- Experience with test planning, validation, system integration, and operational support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting DISA, DoDNet, or large federal modernization programs.
- Experience with automation and orchestration of DDI services.
- Experience supporting enterprise network migrations.
- Security+, CASP+, or related cybersecurity certifications.
- Experience with ServiceNow and enterprise monitoring tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise Infoblox DDI infrastructure.
- Administer and optimize DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management services.
- Develop and execute test plans, validation procedures, and operational acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot complex DDI and network integration issues.
- Support migrations involving DNS, DHCP, and IP address management systems.
- Develop technical implementation plans, engineering documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform system analysis and recommend service improvements and automation.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with DoD security requirements.
- Support operational turnover, sustainment planning, and lifecycle management activities.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering and operations personnel.
