Senior Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician - Ammonia Focus
About The Position
RSCS and MRC are looking for experienced ammonia refrigeration service technicians who know the trade, take pride in their work, and can perform in the field when customers are counting on them. This role is for skilled industrial refrigeration professionals with real ammonia field-service experience — technicians who can walk into an engine room, troubleshoot the issue, communicate clearly with the customer, and help get critical systems operating safely and reliably again. You will join a team of trade professionals who understand industrial refrigeration, value strong workmanship, and support one another across a growing Western U.S. service footprint.
Requirements
- Proven industrial refrigeration field-service experience
- Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems required
- Strong troubleshooting skills and safe work habits
- Ability to work independently in the field while contributing to a professional team
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel and participate in on-call service as needed
Nice To Haves
- Experience with compressors, controls, valves, motors, electrical troubleshooting, and system startups
- RETA CARO/CIRO, OSHA, EPA Universal, welding, controls, or electrical experience
