Senior Industrial Process Engineer
About The Position
AtkinsRéalis is currently seeking a Senior Industrial Process Engineer for its Montreal office. This job posting is intended to build a candidate pool for future needs. As a Senior Industrial Process Engineer, you will determine specific project requirements, establish the scope of work, and identify steps and timelines for completion. You will perform design and calculations related to project needs, provide technical support to other project managers when required, and draft specifications and technical reports. You will also coordinate between various stakeholders, both internal (AtkinsRéalis) and external (clients and other engineering firms), represent the company to the client, and offer technical expertise and support during construction work. You will perform any other tasks related to these functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in heavy industrial processes
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Strong knowledge of the industrial sector
- Ability to meet specified budgets, schedules, and quality requirements for projects and the company
- Proficiency in process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), and heat and material balances (HMB)
- Knowledge and experience in risk studies (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, What-If)
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of renewable energy processes (hydrogen production, carbon capture)
