Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician
About The Position
The Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician ensures that industrial machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely by performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. This role involves moving, assembling, installing, or dismantling machinery, maintaining and repairing plant equipment, and troubleshooting issues related to manufacturing operations. The technician will also perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance, unpack and assemble new equipment, and interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints, and sketches. Additionally, they will review machine productivity, identify causes for downtime, suggest improvements, and develop new ways to enhance functionality and efficiency. Tasks may include welding, fabrication, calibration, and operating specialized equipment like forklifts, aerial lifts, or cranes. The role also includes assisting with other duties as needed.
Requirements

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of use of precision instruments.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 7 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician focusing on hydraulics and electrical systems.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with hand and welding tools.
- Proficiency in pneumatics, mechanical schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Nice To Haves
- An associate degree in maintenance technology, related field, or a Industrial Maintenance Technician certificate is preferred.
- Experience with specialized equipment such as fork-lift, aerial lift or crane preferred.
Responsibilities
