About The Position

Craig Industries, Inc., a growing manufacturer in the building materials industry, is looking to hire a Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician. The Senior Industries Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager/Plant Engineer. The candidate for this position must perform minor and major repairs, preventive maintenance measures, and electrical wiring of buildings/manufacturing equipment. The primary responsibility is inspecting, repairing and maintaining the machinery, buildings, grounds and equipment within Craig Industries. Experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician and experience with Industrial Electrical Maintenance required. This position is required to follow specified safety procedures and abide by company attendance policies. Required Hours: 40 Hours, 1st Shift, In Person Compensation package includes an hourly base pay with health, dental, vision, 401K and more. Requirements

  • Experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician
  • Experience with Industrial Electrical Maintenance
  • Electrical background required
  • Experience with 208 and 480 volt 3 phase a must
  • Ability to effectively communicate with production workers/supervisors
  • Basic understanding of how to use a computer/mouse/tablet
  • The ability to follow directions and work with a team
  • Electrical or Mechanical: 2-year experience
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, reach, push/pull a wheeled cart up to 250 lbs.
  • Good fine motor skills
  • Ability to work with heights up to 20 feet
  • Self-motivated
  • Reliable
  • Work well under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to run a manual Mill and or Lathe
  • PLC background
  • Welding experience preferred
  • 2-year Technical schooling

Responsibilities

  • Keeping tools clean and organized
  • Performing building upkeep and repairs
  • Conducting routine preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns including pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
  • Sourcing replacement parts and submitting quotes
  • Running conduit and wiring
  • Welding
