About The Position

As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you will support the implementation and sustainability of the engineering program across warehouse operations. This includes designing, maintaining, and evolving Engineered Labor Standards (ELS); driving process improvement initiatives to deliver measurable business impact (e.g., cost savings, productivity gains, or capacity improvements); configuring systems; and educating field leadership and team members on engineering principles. You will serve as the network’s subject matter expert in Labor Management, guiding leaders on how to effectively interpret and apply labor standards, performance metrics, and LMS capabilities. Your responsibilities will include conducting onsite audits, performance validations, and analytical reviews of operational processes. You will identify opportunities for improvement, determine root causes, and establish and maintain standards accordingly. This includes developing clear, scalable documentation and standard operating procedures to promote consistency, clarity, and operational efficiency. You will serve as a trusted partner to Operations, bridging frontline realities with enterprise priorities, and collaborating cross-functionally with project stakeholders from concept through execution on initiatives related to process reengineering and operational optimization, leveraging standard project management tools (e.g., PMI methodology, Lean Six Sigma). In this role, you’ll also partner closely with Senior Industrial Engineers at other FDCs to align practices, configurations, and engineering capabilities across the network. In addition, you will work closely with members of the Food Supply Chain team to ensure cohesive, network-wide solutions across all operational areas. As part of the building’s senior leadership team, you will also support strategic planning, building-wide initiatives, and key operational decisions in partnership with site and functional leaders. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.
