Senior Implementation Associate
About The Position
DoorDash is expanding into new verticals, and we need someone excited to build the playbook — not just run one that already exists. As a Senior Implementation Associate, you'll own the full journey from signed contract to active merchant, driving speed, quality, and consistency in a space that's still taking shape. This is a quota-carrying, outbound role. You'll manage a rolling book of business (typically 65–80 merchants) and be measured on how fast you move merchants from contract to launch, the quality metrics you hit along the way, and your quarterly attainment — all while helping define what "good" looks like in a brand-new vertical. This role reports to the SMB New Verticals Implementation Team Lead. It's primarily remote, with the option to work from our local office with teammates regularly, plus travel 1–2 times a year for training, offsites, and team-building.
Requirements
- 1–3 years in Implementation, Customer Success, or Account Management, with a track record carrying quota or attainment-based goals
- Comfort with outbound motion and high call volume
- A builder's mindset — energized by ambiguity, not blocked by it
- Strong organizational instincts — you can juggle a large, rolling book without dropping the ball
- Bias toward action: you'd rather test and adjust than wait for a fully-baked process
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, especially on the phone
Nice To Haves
- familiarity with POS systems, Open API, or SFTP integrations
Responsibilities
- Own a rolling book of business from contract signing through a merchant's first 28 days live
- Drive outbound engagement with merchants to accelerate time-to-activation
- Hit quarterly attainment goals tied to speed and quality
- Build (and rebuild) the implementation playbook in real time — test what works, kill what doesn't
- Flag process gaps and recommend fixes as the vertical matures
- Partner cross-functionally to clear blockers slowing merchants down
