Senior Identity Engineer
About The Position
As a Senior Identity Engineer at Veralto, you will help design, build, automate, and secure enterprise identity services that enable more than 18,000 associates worldwide to access the right resources securely and efficiently. The role involves engineering scalable identity solutions, automating business processes, troubleshooting complex technical challenges, and continually improving enterprise identity management while supporting strong governance and security. You will work as part of a small, collaborative Identity Engineering team and partner with Corporate Infrastructure, Information Security, HR, Messaging, the Global Service Desk, application owners, and IT teams across Veralto's Operating Companies. You will also support Identity Governance and Privileged Access Management initiatives. The role requires onsite attendance for the first two weeks for training; the work environment is otherwise described as flexible and remote-friendly. Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience supporting enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM), Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, or related identity technologies.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills, including experience building automation and improving operational processes.
- Experience troubleshooting authentication, authorization, provisioning, identity lifecycle, and access-related issues.
- Understanding of identity and authentication technologies, including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), LDAP, Kerberos, and related identity concepts.
- Experience translating business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms, preferably Saviynt.
- Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph and Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK.
- Experience with Git or other source control systems.
- Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- Experience with enterprise automation and workflow orchestration.
- Experience with identity migrations, mergers and acquisitions, or enterprise integration projects.
- ITIL or operational service management practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Build and maintain integrations between Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, HR systems, enterprise applications, and identity platforms.
- Develop automation using PowerShell and related technologies to improve reliability, consistency, and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, provisioning, identity lifecycle, and access-related issues using a structured, root-cause-driven approach.
- Partner with Information Security to implement identity governance, least privilege, and privileged access best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate identity-related business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
- Lead or contribute to identity-related migrations, acquisitions, and modernization initiatives.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex identity issues and drive long-term solutions through root cause analysis.
- Document solutions, mentor peers, and contribute to continuous improvement through engineering and automation.
