The Senior ICAM Engineer will implement ICAM modernization designs for PEP/PIP, EMS, and RPMS components, ensuring alignment with architectural patterns and modernization goals, including the transition from the legacy PDP to JBlocks. This role involves developing and integrating microservices that support identity, attributes, authorization, resource registration, and policy distribution. The engineer will collaborate with the Architect to translate high-level designs into detailed engineering tasks, technical artifacts, and system interfaces. They will also support the Technical Lead by providing technical input during Program Increment (PI) planning, backlog refinement, work estimation, and risk identification. The position requires developing new PEP/PIP patterns, enhancing EMS and RPMS services with automation for lifecycle management and policy ingestion, and coordinating with DevOps engineers on CI/CD, containerization, and deployment. Troubleshooting complex identity, authentication, authorization, and policy-related issues, producing engineering documentation, and ensuring modernization efforts reduce operational overhead while improving system reliability are key aspects of this role. Participation in integration testing, operational readiness testing, and deployment validation across multiple environments is expected. Additionally, the Senior ICAM Engineer will mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in secure coding, microservices development, and ICAM integration.
