About The Position

Lands’ End is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our maintenance team at our corporate headquarters in Dodgeville, WI. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving commercial HVAC equipment and building automation systems while supporting equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of field experience with complex commercial HVAC systems, including air handling units, building automation systems, and DDC controls.
  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Experience with commercial refrigeration systems and EPA 608 certification.
  • Experience with rooftop units, heat pumps, cooling towers, boilers, closed-loop systems, AC split systems, chillers, controls, and heavy commercial or industrial systems.
  • Ability to use email, Microsoft Office applications, building automation software, and work order systems.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • EPA Universal Certification required.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license without restrictions.
  • Ability to obtain certification to operate forklifts and other Lands’ End motorized vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Service, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, building automation systems, and DDC controls.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on rooftop units, air handling units, heat pumps, cooling towers, boilers, chillers, split systems, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using wiring diagrams, schematics, and system controls.
  • Remove, repair, or replace faulty or outdated HVAC equipment, motors, valves, actuators, shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys, and related components.
  • Maintain boiler, cooling tower, closed-loop, filtration, and chemical treatment systems.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for HVAC equipment.
  • Maintain accurate work order documentation, maintenance records, and equipment history.
  • Manage HVAC parts inventory, assist with ordering parts and equipment, and prepare purchase order requests according to established policies and procedures.
  • Support training and mentoring for apprentice HVAC technicians.
  • Communicate effectively with internal customers, team members, vendors, and leadership.
  • Follow all company safety policies, use appropriate safety equipment, and immediately report unsafe conditions.
