Requirements

• Prior experience as an HR Director/Manager; preferably minimum 5 years
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources management preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Strong people skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
• Proficiency with, or the ability to, quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, interviews, hiring, and training of new staff, as well as, supervising the daily workflow in the department.
• Oversee the administration of HR programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leave, disputes and investigations, performance, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
• Assist with employee resolutions as needed, possibly including discipline and termination.
• Develop and implement HR policies, processes, training, and initiatives to support the organization's HR compliance and strategy needs.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and review and modify policies to maintain compliance and guide management and employee actions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organizational goals and strategies related to staffing, recruiting and retention and support management by providing HR advice, counsel and decisions.
• Manage our personnel and ensure that our human resources programs are effective, efficient, and aligned to our overall business objectives.
