Opportunity! We are looking for a HR Business Partner to support our US and Canada region during a period of scaling and operational maturation. This role works closely with delivery leaders, practice leaders, and functional leadership to drive initiatives related to the employee experience. The HRBP brings a consultative approach, leveraging data and insights to guide leaders through people decisions and organizational change. As a member of the People Experience team, the HRBP also helps shape scalable people programs that support Modus’ continued growth and culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field
  • 8+ years of HR experience, including HR business partnering
  • Experience working with distributed or global teams
  • Expertise across various HR/People channels, including compensation & benefits, compliance, employee relations, and learning and development.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure, outcome-oriented environments.
  • Clear, empathetic, and effective communicator, adept at adjusting approaches based on audience needs.
  • Experience with performance management, employee relations and data analytics/reporting.
  • Demonstrated project management and change management experience and ability to drive programs independently.
  • Experience helping global and/or highly matrixed organizations scale
  • Effective communication and critical thinking skills

  • Demonstrated experience learning and thriving in a constantly changing environment and to cultivate relationships across teams

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to translate business priorities into people strategies.
  • Provide guidance on organizational structure, team effectiveness, and talent planning.
  • Lead and support change management initiatives including reorganizations, leadership transitions, and growth initiatives.
  • Champion a positive employee experience aligned with Modus values and culture.
  • Partner with leaders to improve retention and career development opportunities, navigate complex team dynamics and organizational challenges..
  • Coach leaders on performance management, feedback, and team leadership.
  • Support the development of emerging leaders across practices.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters with a focus on fairness, consistency, and trust partnering with legal when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian employment laws and regulations, providing guidance to leaders on policies, employee relations matters, and risk mitigation across jurisdictions.
