About The Position

The Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) is a highly strategic advisor and trusted consultant to senior leaders across the organization. In this role, you will leverage deep business insight and advanced HR expertise to shape people strategies that accelerate performance, strengthen culture, and enable long-term organizational success. As a key partner to one or more lines of business, you will influence and guide decisions that impact team member engagement, retention, organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership effectiveness. You will help create an environment where all team members can thrive-driving a culture rooted in inclusion, belonging, and high performance. This role also serves as a peer coach and mentor to other HR Business Partners, helping elevate the HRBP function, strengthen service delivery, and promote best-in-class practices across the broader team. Requirements

4 Year / Bachelors Degree - Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field, required.
Minimum of seven years of Human Resources or related experience, required.
Three years experience with executive level consultation across multiple human capital domains to include organizational design and optimization, team member engagement, retention strategies, and performance management, required.
Three years experience in managing and implementing projects and strategic change initiatives.

COMMUNICATION - Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and ability to draft clear, concise communications and documents. Listens to others and their nonverbal cues and responds appropriately.
ADAPTABILITY - Maintains change readiness, resilience, and flexibility to meet evolving business needs. Adaptability includes successfully navigating volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous scenarios.
Problem Solving: Strong technical and analytical experience, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. Able to leverage data to tell a story.

Digital Fluency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint. Strong Excel skills required. Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities.

Nice To Haves

Graduate Degree, strongly preferred.
Three years experience in providing consultative services, preferred.
Three years health care or related field experience.
Merger and Acquisition experience, preferred.
PHR, SPHR, or other Human Resources Certifications, preferred.
Entrepreneurial spirit and innovative drive for reaching the next great idea and exceeding goals.
Intellectual depth, moral integrity, personal vision, creativity, leadership skills, fortitude, sincerity, and diplomacy.
Ability to work independently and as a collaborator who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within and outside of Novant Health.
Bilingual in Spanish / English.
