About The Position

Senior Human Resources Business Partner Company: The Boeing Company Boeing’s Human Resources (HR) organization is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) Software Engineering Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) organization in either Seattle, WA; Kent, WA or Tukwila, WA. This Senior Human Resources Business Partner is an integral role that serves as thought partner to BDS Software Engineering MS&B leadership team partnering with business leaders to help guide the organizations’ day-to-day and strategic workforce actions and decisions to meet the organization’s objectives. The successful candidate is also responsible for partnering with engineering managers and teammates across BDS Software MS&B and our larger HR community in solving organizational challenges and driving results through effective data-driven strategies, consultation, and cultural stewardship. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices, and processes
  • 5+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
  • 5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives
  • Experience with HR strategies and action plans, policies, procedures, and industry trends
  • Experience developing solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation
  • Experience creating and presenting data-driven HR solutions to senior leaders
  • Track record of establishing strong relationships through trust, credibility, expertise, and business acumen
  • Experience developing winning staffing strategies and action plans
  • Strong project management skills
  • High degree of Emotional Intelligence

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with BDS Software Engineering Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) leadership to create Talent strategies that support Business strategies
  • Provide HR presence where our employees work to enable real time engagement and solutions
  • Partner closely with MS&B Software Engineering LT and other key stakeholders to develop a deep, diverse talent pipeline of current and future leaders
  • Develop and deploy integrated Human Resources services, processes and data analytics that drive business results for the MS&B Software Engineering organization, including: staffing; engagement, development, and retention initiatives; performance management and compensation; succession planning and pipeline development
  • Consult, coach, and guide executive leaders, managers and engineering teammates on HR related matters including behaviors and techniques that help achieve leadership excellence and organizational and individual performance outcomes
  • Enable informed, data-driven business decisions by providing robust workforce analytics, trends, and consultation
  • Establish strong, collaborative relationships with business leadership and colleagues across HR, including our Centers of Excellence (CoEs), based on trust, credibility, expertise, and business acumen
  • Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided
  • Accountable for the quality and delivery of HR products and services by engaging other HR resources and centers of excellence as appropriate; influencing process improvement by working with others
  • Contribute to the development of employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery
  • Mentor new HRBPs and support continuing evolution of HR function towards HR Excellence
