Waukesha County is seeking a forward-thinking Training and Development Coordinator to lead and grow its employee development programs. This role will foster a culture of continuous learning, strengthen leadership development, and help employees build necessary skills. The county has an established training program including leadership development, a Standards of Service Excellence certificate program, technology training, Lean/Continuous Improvement education, and professional development opportunities. The coordinator will partner with third-party facilitators, design and deliver new learning solutions, and collaborate with leadership and employees to identify development priorities and implement training strategies. A key focus will be advancing the Workday Learning platform, including system administration, building learning paths, launching training campaigns, and integrating digital learning content. This role also serves as the lead for the Workday Talent and Performance module, supporting performance management, succession planning, and talent development strategies. Additionally, the position will contribute to employee communication and engagement initiatives as part of the County’s Communications Team.
