We are seeking a collaborative and service-oriented Senior HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle in a mission-driven nonprofit organization. This role focuses on employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and HR operations while providing exceptional customer service to staff and leadership. Requirements

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn HRIS systems.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years Human Resources experience (nonprofit experience preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Serving as a primary contact for employee relations and HR inquiries
  • Supporting onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS data management
  • Assisting with compliance, audits, and employment law requirements
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records
  • Partnering with leadership to support staff engagement and organizational goals
