About The Position

The Senior HSI/HFE Systems Engineer applies working knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals for both unmanned remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and manned submersible systems to provide guidance to the division’s engineering and design activities under the direction of a program manager and lead engineer. The Senior HSI/HFE Systems Engineer will be required to interact with other OTECH personnel and guides engineering efforts to meet the client’s requirements. The Senior HSI/HFE Systems Engineer will provide guidance to engineering design efforts, with a focus on Human Systems, through the development of systems engineering documentation, including concepts of operations (CONOPS), operational scenarios and vignettes, requirements specifications, interface control documents and drawings, task and workload analyses, and participation in the development of human-centric test plans and procedures. Responsibilities
