About The Position

Join an exciting startup HR People Partner opportunity supporting the launch of a brand-new, best-in-class 300+ person Power Generator facility in Pensacola, FL, as part of GE Vernova Gas Power in the fast-growing energy industry. This is a unique, time-bound 24-month role that offers the chance to help build the HR foundation for a new site from the ground up, partnering with leaders, managers, and employees to support organizational and employee matters, provide coaching, and deliver HR process expertise as the HR manager of record for the client group. Requirements

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Human Resources & Employee Human Resource Management.
  • Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the site leader and the existing Wind team co-located onsite to build and shape the Generator leadership team as well as staff the generator site over a 24 month period.
  • A first point of contact for employees & managers who provides leadership, coaching and support for individual employee needs & HR processes.
  • Developing specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.
  • Serves as best practice/quality resource.
  • Has awareness of latest functional developments in own area.
  • Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
