About The Position

The Sr. Human Resources Generalist will support the Fremont manufacturing location, driving people initiatives and executing bold people strategies. The role focuses on championing people development, revolutionizing talent pipelines, optimizing organizational efficiency, and leading change management efforts. This position is dedicated to driving cultural transformation to achieve goals related to people initiatives, employee relations, and supporting site leadership. The Fremont site employs approximately 400 employees in a Union Manufacturing location and produces Ketchup. This position requires an Onsite Presence Monday-Friday and will include some work outside of first shift operating hours, as it is a 24/7 Manufacturing Site.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Experience in HR supporting hourly employees and cross functional partners within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong eye for business, project management, and technical proficiency in workplace technology and systems (eg. Workday, Dayforce, Indeavor, MS Office Suite, etc)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and other key customers influencing through data and insights
  • Excellent organization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leading change through others.
  • Adaptability – Maintaining effectiveness in the face of changing priorities and tasks, and the ability to manage multiple assignments.

  • Support the People Pillar of Total Productive Management (TPM), driving excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manages employee & labor relations by investigating- resolving and communicating employee questions- issues- concerns- grievances- and sets union labor strategy for the facility.
