We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior HR Generalist to play a key role in supporting a global organization. This position will be responsible for onboarding and offboarding, HR systems and employee records, workforce reporting, compliance administration, engagement surveys, learning platform administration, and the execution of employee engagement initiatives. The role will also identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen the employee experience, and build scalable HR practices as the organization continues to evolve. The successful candidate will be highly organized, responsive, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities. This individual must be able to independently manage established HR programs, anticipate next steps, communicate proactively, and exercise sound judgment regarding when matters should be escalated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of progressive human resources experience.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing HR operations and employee-lifecycle processes.
  • Experience with onboarding, offboarding, HRIS administration, employee records, and workforce reporting.
  • Experience administering surveys, learning platforms, employee programs, or similar HR projects.
  • Working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment requirements.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to prepare polished presentations and employee communications.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and appropriately escalate concerns.
  • Ability to work on-site in the company’s main office.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a multi-location organization.
  • Experience with ADP, SuccessFactors, Jobvite, or comparable HR systems.
  • Experience administering a learning management or engagement-survey platform.
  • Experience coordinating employee engagement programs and events.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Own and coordinate the company-wide onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Manage pre-employment requirements, employee documentation, orientation, and onboarding follow-up.
  • Process employee changes and maintain accurate employee information.
  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, Payroll & Benefits, IT, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain employee records, employment documents, forms, templates, and process checklists.
  • Prepare approved employment letters and separation materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee experience and simplify HR processes.
  • Serve as a primary administrator for the company’s HR information systems.
  • Maintain accurate employee, job, manager, location, and organizational data.
  • Conduct regular HRIS and employee-record audits.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc workforce reports, including headcount, turnover, and organizational movement.
  • Maintain employee rosters, organization charts, and workforce-planning materials.
  • Support HR system enhancements, testing, and process improvements.
  • Create and maintain HR procedures and standard operating documentation.
  • Manage the cycle for annual engagement surveys and other employee listening activities.
  • Coordinate survey timelines, platform setup, employee data, communications, and participation reminders.
  • Monitor participation and provide status updates to HR leadership.
  • Create leadership and employee presentations.
  • Coordinate follow-up surveys and track approved action plans.
  • Administer the company’s learning management platform.
  • Maintain employee accounts, course assignments, training records, and completion data.
  • Launch approved compliance and employee-development programs.
  • Coordinate training schedules, communications, vendors, facilitators, and logistics.
  • Monitor completion and follow up on overdue assignments.
  • Prepare training reports and maintain the annual learning calendar.
  • Support the administration and tracking of employee development plans.
  • Execute approved employee engagement programs, recognition activities, and events.
  • Maintain the annual engagement and events calendar.
  • Coordinate vendors, venues, communications, registration, materials, and on-site logistics.
  • Track participation, expenses, and employee feedback.
  • Partner with regional teams to support consistent execution across locations.
  • Prepare post-event summaries and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate required compliance training and maintain completion records.
  • Support employee-file, Form I-9, and HR-process audits.
  • Maintain required acknowledgments and compliance documentation.
  • Respond to routine employee questions regarding HR processes, systems, documentation, training, and employee programs.
  • Recognize sensitive employee relations, legal, performance, or compliance matters and escalate them promptly.
