About The Position

Essity is looking for an experienced HR Core Services Manager to help drive a more digitalized HR offering of services. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery, optimization, and continuous improvement of HR services within the North America organization. Additionally, you will manage a centralized hub handling key HR functions such as payroll, LOA administration, employee inquiries, and HR data management. The ideal candidate should live in the Philadelphia metro and be comfortable working a hybrid schedule. Requirements

  • Bachelor degree required. Preferably in HR or a technology related field.
  • 7+ years of experience driving HR technology solutions.
  • Expertise in HR operations, shared services management, and process optimization.
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and digital HR solutions.
  • Data literacy and business acumen.
  • Ability to ensure legal compliance and policy awareness.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workday strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Shared Services Strategy: Design and implement a shared services model to streamline HR operations, ensuring efficient and consistent service delivery across the organization.
  • Oversee HR Operations and Service Delivery: Manage back-end HR processes, including payroll, benefits, employee records, and HRIS administration. Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure prompt and accurate HR service delivery.
  • Implement and Optimize HR Technology: Lead the adoption and ongoing management of HRIS and other digital solutions to enhance service efficiency and data accuracy. Ensure regular system updates, data audits, and user training.
  • Continuous Process Improvement: Analyze service metrics and feedback to identify areas for improvement. Drive process optimization and automation to deliver a positive employee experience.
  • Stakeholder Management and Communication: Act as a liaison between HR, employees, and management, ensuring clear communication and alignment of HR services with business needs. Provide high-touch support for key stakeholders and implement self-service options for routine inquiries.
