The Sr Compliance Analyst is a trusted partner within HR responsible for managing and delivering Compliance programs and services that align with organization goals. Under limited supervision, this role provides support for many aspects of Compliance, including the confidential investigation reporting system, Affirmative Action Plans, assisting with employee relations issues, and drafting and updating policies for the organization. This role is also responsible for ensuring timely review of M&A targets with respect to HR Compliance issues, providing support on global mobility and visa sponsorship activities, and planning and overseeing various project objectives aligning to company goals. Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years Human Resources experience including managing various HR and compliance related projects

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies, including oversight of annual Affirmative Action Plans, coordination with HR leadership, and delivery of required training
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in HR compliance, advising on regulations, affirmative action, and the development, review, and timely update of HR policies and practices
  • Advise on and, as appropriate, lead internal investigations to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards
  • Provide strategic guidance across HR programs (e.g., compensation, EEO, training, benefits, personnel records, and employee relations) to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Partner with HR leadership to define project scope, goals, and deliverables; develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and status reporting for compliance and HR initiatives
  • Analyze HR data, metrics, and trends to identify risks or issues and drive continuous improvement in compliance and employment practices
  • Conduct HR due diligence for M&A activities, including review and analysis of policies, programs, and compliance areas (e.g., FLSA, AAP, I 9), and support integration planning and execution
  • Collaborate closely with HR Partners, Legal, Finance, and M&A teams to identify HR related risks and support development of mitigation strategies for successful integrations
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Legal) and external immigration counsel to provide guidance and support related to visa sponsorship, extensions, renewals, and other global mobility and immigration activities
