About The Position

Rocket Youth is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to provide strategic and operational HR support to leaders and employees across multiple business units and locations. This role will serve as a trusted HR advisor to leadership, with a focus on employee relations, compliance, leadership development, workforce planning, HR processes, and organizational growth. The Senior HR Business Partner will work across a multi-site organization and support HR initiatives associated with both organic growth and acquisitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state organizations
  • Strong employee relations and investigation experience
  • Experience advising and coaching managers and leaders
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and HR teams

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar HR certification
  • Experience in a high-growth organization
  • Experience supporting acquisitions and organizational integration
  • Experience with UKG or another HRIS platform
  • Experience supporting service-based, education, youth programs, franchised, or multi-location organizations

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders and managers to address workforce needs and business priorities
  • Provide HR guidance and coaching to leaders and employees across multiple locations
  • Build effective working relationships with managers and employees
  • Support workforce planning, employee development, engagement, and retention initiatives
  • Advise leaders on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Identify HR trends and recommend solutions that support business objectives
  • Manage employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, investigations, conflict resolution, coaching, and corrective action
  • Conduct and document workplace investigations as appropriate
  • Provide guidance to managers regarding performance management and employee concerns
  • Promote consistent and appropriate application of company policies
  • Maintain appropriate documentation related to employee relations matters
  • Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Monitor HR practices and policies for consistency and compliance
  • Partner with leadership to address compliance concerns and reduce organizational risk
  • Stay informed of changes in employment regulations and HR best practices
  • Support onboarding and employee development processes
  • Provide guidance and support related to HRIS processes and employee data
  • Assist with UKG administration and system-related initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows, and documentation
  • Support implementation of HR programs and process improvements
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and related action plans
  • Analyze workforce information and identify trends or areas for improvement
  • Assist with organizational development and workforce planning
  • Support change management initiatives
  • Participate in acquisition integration and related HR activities
  • Help establish consistent HR practices across growing business units
