About The Position

HSP US is seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner to join their team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is critical to advancing the HR strategy, supporting a growing workforce, and building a strong, inclusive culture that enables long-term operational success. As the HR Business Partner, you will be an integral member of the leadership team and part of the global HR community. Reporting to the HR Director in Canada and the SVP HSP USA, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the organization in the United States by supporting business strategies and providing an attractive and engaging environment for employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or/and Master´s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a multinational organization and partnering with geographically diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing environment is preferred, with exposure to plant operations, workforce planning, employee relations, health and safety, and talent management.
  • Experience supporting a start-up, greenfield, or rapidly growing operation is considered a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of Federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations such as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Worker’s Compensation, etc.
  • Understanding of HR processes and best practices within a manufacturing environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Dynamic leadership and strategic vision.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving prowess.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Adept negotiation and mediation talents are essential for this position.
  • Extensive project management skills will help you to thrive in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Define the overall workforce strategy in alignment with the company's goals.

  • Regularly report on HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to assess the effectiveness of HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Translate and implement global HR strategies, policies, and programs to meet local business, workforce, and regulatory requirements while maintaining alignment with multinational organizational objectives.
  • Administer immigration and work authorization programs across jurisdictions, partnering with outside counsel and business leaders to sponsor, extend, and transfer employee visa statuses in compliance with country-specific requirements while supporting workforce planning and international assignment needs.
