About The Position

Tubi is seeking a strategic and agile Sr. HRBP (Tech) to help us build a world-class People team responsible for providing high-quality support to employees, in close partnership with functions such as Talent Management, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and Workplace. The Sr. HRBP (Tech) will act as a strategic thought partner to leaders across our Engineering and Product organizations, and tackle org issues with people-focused solutions aligned with business goals. This role will be responsible for empowering a culture of high performance, retaining and engaging talent, and driving velocity through simplicity across the tech team. This role is critical to scaling a high-growth organization and driving operational efficiency across the People Team. You'll have a direct impact on the employee experience at Tubi — come bring your bright ideas to the team! This is an individual contributor role reporting to our VP of People. This role will be hybrid, based in SF.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR or People Operations experience within a high-growth company
  • 3+ years supporting technical functions like Engineering and Product
  • 3+ years of designing and implementing talent management and employee experience programs, ideally owning a vertical (e.g., L&D, DEIB, people systems) rather than a single initiative
  • Experience supporting tech organizations and coaching executives
  • Experience creating, owning, and driving strategic company-wide initiatives and programs, and measuring their impact to iterate over time
  • Passionate about company culture and experienced in shaping the right values
  • Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes with the ability to identify, resolve, and anticipate risk in sophisticated and sensitive HR issues/problems
  • Strong track record of using HR data to drive solutions and influence leaders as business context shifts
  • Proven effective partner management and collaboration with other teams, including owning stakeholder alignment for major cross-functional programs
  • Knowledge and experience with HR tools, applicant tracking systems, and data management/reporting techniques
  • Experience creating and fostering partnerships with internal leadership and executive teams
  • Workday experience; other HRIS systems a plus
  • BA/BS degree from a four-year accredited university preferred
  • Strong business acumen and writing skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with tech management to support initiatives by understanding organizational objectives, issues, needs, and key success factors
  • Provide strategic business partnership and coaching to all levels of leadership
  • Design and drive talent programs to shape and reinforce our cultural values and mission
  • Manage our annual talent cycle, inclusive of compensation planning and execution
  • Proactively assess team and employee development needs, anticipate risks and unintended consequences, and lead iteration cycles on ambiguous or undefined problems
  • Own stakeholder alignment across Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and other cross-functional partners, facilitating collaboration at scale to drive efficiencies and simplify workflows
  • Lead a talent vertical or key initiative (e.g., leadership development, employee engagement/enablement, career pathing) in partnership with the People Programs team, measuring impact and iterating over time
  • Manage the administrative responsibilities of the People Operations team, performing operational duties required to keep our processes running efficiently and effectively
  • Support our onboarding program to ensure seamless integration of new hires into Tubi's culture and community
  • Conduct off-boarding, analyze trends, and share opportunities with executives to influence/inform decisions, modeling urgency and a bias toward iteration in high-impact programs
  • Manage compliance programs, including annual reporting, mandatory filings, policy updates, and employee training
