About The Position

Octagon is looking for a dynamic and driven and highly experienced F&B professional to join our team in delivering world-class experience at the FIFA World Cup 2026™. Leading up to the tournament, the Senior Hospitality Manager will be responsible for planning and set-up of all F&B options, activity schedules, and vendor logistics, working with team to ensure seamless guest experience. The ticketing team is responsible for the planning, management, assignment, distribution and reconciliation of the client event tickets for this Global sporting event coming to North America, and the Ticket Coordinator will be a key to the success of the ticketing workstream This role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-profile global event environment. The successful candidate will ensure all ticketing processes are executed accurately and efficiently, contributing to a seamless and premium guest experience

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality and/or F&B operations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and stakeholder and vendor management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Strong Excel proficiency and data management capability
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to or more than eight hours at a time
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. A considerable amount of domestic event travel will be required throughout the FIFA World Cup 2026™ time period, including nights and weekends. Anticipated travel level: High (40-60%)

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the area lead in the management, administration and delivery of F&B and activities onsite
  • Manage and reconcile prepaid cards and vouchers for all guests
  • Providing account support with F&B budget, contracts, POs, invoicing, tracking, vendor payments, reconciliation, and post-event report
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and confirming F&B menus with venues
  • Support dietary restrictions, special requests, and guest-facing F&B needs
  • Oversee bar setups and product integration
  • Foster a positive working relationship with the team members, ensuring open lines of communication and collaborative problem-solving
  • Maintain detailed tracking documents for spend, headcount, and inventory
  • Support the execution of all food & beverage services and guest activities in alignment with the event schedule.
  • Liaise with venues, restaurants, and vendors to confirm menus, setups, and service standards
  • Troubleshoot real-time challenges such as schedule changes, delays, or guest needs
  • Coordinate the execution of offsite dinners, excursions, and entertainment programs.
  • Support daily operations across multiple venues and cities, serving as the central point of contact for F&B vendors and onsite teams.
  • Support in contingency plans for inclement weather, vendor delays, schedule adjustments, or anything else that may arise.
