About The Position

The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager to lead the service team. The supervisor is responsible for assisting with overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure excellent customer service, efficient workflow, and compliance with company policies and food safety standards. This role supports the management team by supervising staff, assisting with scheduling, resolving customer concerns, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. Most importantly, the Front of House Supervisor will encourage a positive learning environment for the entire team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of restaurant or hospitality experience; supervisory experience preferred
  • Dependable, punctual, impeccable attendance record
  • Accurate, attention to detail, service oriented
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Basic computer and POS system knowledge preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as required
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support front-of-house and/or back-of-house staff during shifts
  • Train new employees on restaurant procedures, customer service standards, and safety guidelines
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to maintain service quality and performance
  • Assist with employee scheduling and shift coverage
  • Ensure guests receive prompt, friendly, and high-quality service
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
  • Maintain a welcoming and positive dining environment
  • Monitor daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards
  • Coordinate staff activities during busy service periods
  • Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • Assist with inventory tracking and ordering supplies as needed
  • Monitor food and beverage stock levels
  • Handle cash management responsibilities including register oversight and end-of-shift reconciliation when required
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and workspaces
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and company policies
