About The Position
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Staff Homeowners Property Adjuster to join a team. This field-based role involves managing residential property claims from initial First Notice of Loss (FNOL) through final resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in homeowners property claims, including coverage analysis, investigations, estimating, vendor management, and customer communication.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in homeowners property claims.
- Proficiency in Xactimate software.
- Proven ability to handle claims from start to finish.
- Strong skills in coverage interpretation and investigation.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based territory.
Responsibilities
- Manage homeowner property claims from FNOL through closure.
- Conduct on-site inspections to determine scope, causation, and coverage.
- Prepare detailed estimates using Xactimate software.
- Investigate coverage issues and issue denials when warranted.
- Handle structural and contents losses.
- Manage claim reserves and exposure assessments.
- Coordinate and oversee contractors, mitigation vendors, and inspections.
- Communicate settlement rationale and manage customer expectations throughout the claim lifecycle.
- Resolve claims independently with minimal supervision.
