Senior Healthcare Data Analyst
About The Position
The Senior Healthcare Data Analyst provides data analysis support to the customer by is responsible for converting vendor-provided file specifications, layouts, and business requirements into detailed data mapping documentation that aligns source data elements with Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) structures and applicable business rules. Serving as a liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams, this role helps ensure data is properly integrated, transformed, validated, and delivered within the enterprise analytics ecosystem. This position supports data quality and data stewardship functions to maintain data accuracy. As a subject matter expert, the Senior Healthcare Data Analyst uses analytic skills to offer data-driven conclusions and recommendations to business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in analytics, statistics, informatics, business, public health, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, data mapping, ETL, data warehouse, or related data environments.
- Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation, Databricks.
- Experience developing source-to-target mapping documentation, business requirements, and technical specifications.
- Ability to interpret source system documentation, file specifications, data dictionaries and requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and documentation or collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Experience solving business problems with data.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly with operational, clinical, finance, or executive stakeholders.
- Experience working with healthcare, payer, claims, enrollment, provider, or other regulated data domains.
Responsibilities

- Supporting QA, UAT, production implementation, and post-deployment validation activities.
