The position of Senior Healthcare Architect is responsible for leading architectural design on complex healthcare projects including hospitals, ambulatory care facilities, and medical office buildings. This role involves planning, developing, scheduling, coordinating, and conducting architectural work on moderate to large-scale projects, executing components of large projects or managing multiple projects with complex features. The Senior Healthcare Architect will manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and overall performance, developing and overseeing design concepts, space programming, and planning strategies. They will lead the preparation and review of drawings, specifications, and construction documents, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards (FGI, NFPA, ADA, and local/state regulations). This role requires coordination with multidisciplinary teams, acting as a discipline lead, and supervising/reviewing the work of other architectural staff and consultants. Mentorship, leadership, technical guidance, and quality control are key aspects, as is providing technical support during construction and supporting business development through client interaction and proposal development. The position requires minimal supervision, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and participation in team meetings and client presentations.
