Raytheon's Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department is the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology within Raytheon. The department is responsible for the design, development, integration, and support to production builds, and lifecycle support of Raytheon products. This position is for a multi-discipline Senior Hardware Production Support Engineer, capable of solving design and manufacturing problems and providing highly innovative solutions in multiple product assembly, integration, test, statistical process control and transition to production applications. Senior Hardware Production Support Engineers are the liaisons between the design engineers, the factory, and suppliers and are responsible for working with Operations, Supply, Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve production and transition to production issues. What You Will Do Enhance your electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog and/or RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies. Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration. Lead failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation. Perform circuit analysis including characterization, modeling and simulation of electrical signals in electronics subsystems. Process Engineering Change Notices and Variances through the Configuration Control Board process. Support the transition to production of new products. Partnering in the development and troubleshooting of test equipment and establishment of test requirements and procedures. This 1st shift role is 100% on-site and will be based in Tewksbury, MA. Frequent travel is to be anticipated between multiple sites including Andover, MA. Infrequent travel to Tucson, AZ will be required, anticipated to be approximately 2 times per year.
