In this role, you will contribute to the design and test of digital hardware including servers, cabinets, high-speed digital printed circuit boards, and other assemblies for radar and other applications. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the design and test of digital hardware, preferably including Printed Circuit Board and cable design. This position will require a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access. As a Hardware IPT Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading Hardware development teams of 5 - 20 engineers through the hardware development process of digital subsystems. You will act as a technical liaison between Engineering & Technology leadership and Program Management to align resources, staffing, and milestone planning. You will facilitate weekly IPT status meetings and ensure transparent communication among engineering, technology, program management, and customer stakeholders. You will deliver clear, concise oral and written updates to leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams. You will oversee subsystem development, build, and test activities to meet schedule, performance, and quality requirements. You will foster close working relationships with associate IPT Leads, functional Managers, and customer counterparts.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related Technical degree
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience
  • Proven ability to contribute to hardware design work
  • Experience with validating hardware and integrating with other assemblies
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level
  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • Experience with troubleshooting electronics at the component / circuit board level, including batteries, DC/DC converters, Inverters, and embedded FPGAs and micro-processors.
  • Cable Design Experience in Zuken E3
  • PCB Design Experience in Altium, Xpedition, or other design software
  • Ability to troubleshoot a variety of electrically related problems, document testing processes and results in the appropriate problem reporting system
  • Experience with Change Management and Release Processes
