As a Senior Hardware Engineer, a typical day might include the following: Inventing, analyzing and designing complex and innovative analog and digital systems to meet specifications. Leading large projects of high technical complexity and participating in executive project review processes. Leading hardware design design reviews to demonstrate product and circuit robustness. Leading the development of hardware and system level specifications of products for highly complex applications. Writing and reviewing complex test plans, executing or supervising testing, evaluating and reviewing test results for use in peer reviews and for project notebooks. Providing mentorship and coaching to other engineers and technicians. Participating in industry technical meetings, seminars and conferences.
