Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in embedded system design & hardware development
  • Experienced in DSP/ARM based hardware development, integration, and testing
  • Experience in design of digital and analog systems and various other products
  • Strong hardware and system knowledge
  • Schematic capture layout in high-speed interfaces and RF experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Skilled in C, C++, and python
  • Proven record of successful project contributions
  • Strong participation in architecture and platform development
  • Manufacturing and cross-functional team interaction and support for project completion
  • Regulatory testing for non-RF requirements, debug and standards support.
  • Basic knowledge in wireless communications
  • Strong hardware and system knowledge
  • Strong team player and communicator
  • Broad knowledge of modern digital systems
  • Experience with the constraints imposed by battery operated systems
  • Experience with a variety of common digital interfaces at the PHY level, including RS232, USB, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, SDIO, etc.
  • Expert in the use of test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
  • Working knowledge of PCB schematic capture - Cadence knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
  • May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications
  • Analyze designs to designate necessary equipment to collect data
  • Evaluate and synthesize experimental tests and their results
  • Read and design plans to build electrical systems on a variety of products and machinery
  • Focus on manipulation and usage of electricity within a function of an engineered process
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
