About The Position

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges. The Senior, GTM Strategy - Connect role drives the strategic development and execution of go-to-market initiatives for Amazon Connect across global markets. This position is responsible for defining target markets, building comprehensive GTM campaigns, and orchestrating cross-functional alignment between AWS field teams, partners, and internal stakeholders to accelerate customer adoption and revenue growth. The GTM Strategy team for Amazon Connect is a dynamic, high-impact group that sits at the intersection of strategy, sales, and product innovation. Our mission is to accelerate Connect's growth by developing data-driven go-to-market strategies that unlock new market opportunities and enable our field teams to win. We work backwards from customer needs, diving deep into adoption patterns, competitive dynamics, and market trends to inform strategic decisions that shape how AWS brings Connect to market globally.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of working with Business Application Technologies, including, but not limited to End User Compute (EUC), Supply Chain, Contact Center as a Service, Consumer Data Applications, Encrypted Communications, and/or Communication Developer Services experience
  • 7+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • 7+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

Responsibilities

  • Developing data-driven GTM strategies and frameworks that identify customer segments, market opportunities, and adoption pathways for Amazon Connect
  • Creating and executing scalable GTM campaigns with measurable goals, timelines, and success metrics aligned to business objectives
  • Driving alignment across diverse stakeholders including sales executives, product teams, marketing, and partner organizations to ensure coordinated market execution
  • Building strategic relationships with C-suite executives and business leaders to position - Amazon Connect as a transformational solution for customer experience
  • Analyzing market dynamics, competitive positioning, and customer needs to inform strategic recommendations and multi-year planning
  • Leading cross-functional initiatives that improve organizational GTM capabilities, operational excellence, and business rhythms.
