WORK MODEL#LI-OnSiteWHAT YOU WILL DOWe are seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Group Manager, Corporate Planning to help drive our mid-to-long-term vision and support key business initiatives in alignment with market trends and internal goals. The Senior Group Manager, Corporate Planning will lead the development, coordination and execution of corporate strategy, business planning, mid-term planning and cross-functional strategic initiatives. This position directly supports the HMNA CEO Office and reports to the Director, Strategy and Governance. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Strategic Planning, Coordination & Execution Lead annual and mid‑/long‑term corporate planning to ensure alignment across business units, regions, and global headquarters. Lead key processes including Business Planning (BP), Mid‑Term Planning (MTP), PM2 KPI development, investment prioritization, and forecasting and scenario modeling. Collaborate with regional teams to align corporate strategy with regional objectives and operating plans. Lead Corporate Planning initiatives to drive innovation, streamline processes, and implement scalable solutions. Strategic Projects & Initiatives Drive tactical initiatives for Hyundai and Genesis in North America, including market battle plans, competitive strategies, and resource allocation. Serve as strategic liaison across functions and regions (U.S., Canada, Mexico) to ensure cross‑functional alignment. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables for key initiatives. Market & Competitive Intelligence Analyze global and regional automotive trends, emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and competitor activity. Develop insights that inform product planning, investment decisions, and new business models or channels. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies while highlighting growth opportunities. Analysis and Presentations Prepare strategic presentations and business cases for senior leadership, including the HMNA CEO. Develop analytics, reporting, and KPI frameworks to track progress against strategic objectives. Support enterprise decision‑making with recommendations subject to executive approval. Supervise staff as needed, set employee goals, and conduct performance reviews per company policy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ten or more years of strategic, business or corporate planning experience required.
  • Cross-cultural communication skills, analytical ability, presentation skills, and an ability to work cross functionally.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to synthesize information effectively.
  • Proven leadership and project management capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree recommended.
  • Experience in the automotive or industrial manufacturing industry a plus.
  • Experience with a global corporation is a plus.

Benefits

  • Compensation Range: $137,025 - $203,000 annual base salary
  • Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
