About The Position

The Honest Company is seeking a Finance Manager, Corporate Planning & Analysis to lead enterprise planning and serve as a strategic partner for finance and executive leadership. The role is responsible for building out the forecasting processes and insightful analysis that support enterprise and cross-functional decision making. You’ll partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and Strategy teams. The ideal candidate provides financial and commercial acumen and process improvement skills to guide The Honest Company toward sustainable profitability and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of finance experience, including experience in Finance Planning & Analysis
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of P&L management
  • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Hyperion and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills
  • Excellent leadership communication and cross-functional partnership
  • Ability to navigate change and adapt in a dynamic operating environment
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Consolidate the annual operating plan and periodic forecasts with a focus on profitability and cash flow.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of financial results, including variance analysis, key driver commentary, and risks & opportunities.
  • Executive Reporting & Decision Support
  • Produce financial reporting packages for finance and executive leadership.
  • Partner with Investor Relations and Financial Reporting team on external financial communications.
  • Support development of materials to enterprise Board of Directors
  • Collaborate with leadership team members on managing administrative expenses.
  • Assess the return on technology, capability, and other SG&A investments.
  • Support long-range planning, capital allocation decisions, and setting targets for the Operating Units.
  • Financial Governance & Capabilities
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and data quality.
  • Partner with Technology leaders to advance the financial system and capabilities roadmap.
  • Encourage innovation and best practices within the finance organization.
  • Promote financial literacy among the non-finance VP & Director community.
