About The Position

Our industry-leading program advances the use of tactical and strategic Identity Intelligence tradecraft to inform decision-makers, from ground force commanders to international partners and national security policymakers. Our employees lead the Intelligence community in providing superior Identity Intelligence analysis and developing innovative data-driven solutions, supporting the customer through intelligence analysis and tradecraft proliferation. Our Graphics Designers support all-source analysis and analytical production by working collaboratively with analysts to understand requirements and further enhances / conveys analytic thoughts and assessments by developing graphic and layout solutions. They provide graphic design and layout solutions for intelligence products including, but not limited to, developing illustrations, editing existing images, providing font management, and utilizing advanced pre-publications techniques. As a Graphic Designer, you will use Government-specified technology to produce graphic design, cartographic products, and interactive graphical content, video content, analytic product templates, and marketing content. You will integrate graphics with text, audio and video to support interactive and multimedia high-visibility finished intelligence products, produce dynamic content IAW IC published standards (i.e. D3 Style Guide), including podcasts or audio segments, and provide user experience / user interface expertise for development of interactive graphics and web products.

Requirements

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite to include Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Bridge, PremierPro and Lightroom
  • Experience in data visualization in a DoD environment
  • Experience with MAPublisher
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the DoD and the Intelligence Community (IC) publication standards and style guidelines
  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • High School Diploma
  • 14 years of relevant experience OR 10 years w/ Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficiency in professional graphics and design software to include, but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, and Flash), Apple Final Cut Pro X, and Apple Mac hardware platforms, Map Publisher, MS Office Suite, and any other interactive graphics enablers, languages, or tools specified.

Responsibilities

  • Support all-source analysis and analytical production by working collaboratively with analysts to understand requirements.
  • Develop graphic and layout solutions to enhance and convey analytic thoughts and assessments.
  • Provide graphic design and layout solutions for intelligence products, including developing illustrations, editing existing images, providing font management, and utilizing advanced pre-publications techniques.
  • Use Government-specified technology to produce graphic design, cartographic products, and interactive graphical content, video content, analytic product templates, and marketing content.
  • Integrate graphics with text, audio, and video to support interactive and multimedia high-visibility finished intelligence products.
  • Produce dynamic content IAW IC published standards (i.e. D3 Style Guide), including podcasts or audio segments.
  • Provide user experience / user interface expertise for development of interactive graphics and web products.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by developing and maintaining safety practices.
  • Complete all training requirements and fulfill self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities.
