About The Position

Fanatics TCG, a Seattle-based trading card game studio within Fanatics Collectibles, is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to help bring the visual design language of its trading card game franchises to life. The designer will contribute to franchise brand systems and the card frames players hold, applying strong design fundamentals and thoughtful decisions about frames, glyphs, and color. Working closely with Principal Graphic Designers, Art Directors, and the Creative Director, the Senior Graphic Designer will execute and extend the visual identity of the games and help uphold the studio’s design standards. The role also involves creating production-ready assets, extending brands into packaging and marketing, and partnering with creative and production teams to deliver accurate print-ready files. All Fanatics TCG employees are expected to work onsite in the Seattle office five days per week. The Seattle base salary range is $71,300–$87,400 USD. The stated range is base pay only and does not include short- or long-term incentive compensation; final pay may consider location, experience, qualifications, and training. Benefits information is available through the company’s benefits website.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in games, entertainment, or consumer products.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong command of typography, hierarchy, composition, and color, with polished execution and clear design thinking.
  • Experience designing for constrained, information-dense formats such as card games, packaging, or editorial.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with packaging design or template-based production design.
  • Background in or genuine passion for the trading card, tabletop games, or collectibles space.

Responsibilities

  • Design and refine card frames, typography, iconography, and layouts within established frame systems, contributing to the distinctive visual grammar of each TCG franchise.
  • Contribute to new-franchise brand identity systems, including color, typography, logo applications, and brand standards documentation, under the direction of the Principal Graphic Designer.
  • Build and maintain card layout templates, set iconography, and other production-ready design assets used across the TCG line.
  • Design packaging and marketing materials that extend the brand coherently beyond the card itself.
  • Partner with creative and production teams to execute designs accurately through to print-ready files and help review production files for consistency with design standards.
  • Maintain organized design files and assets within shared team libraries.
