About The Position

The Senior Graphic Designer is a mid-level position within the General RV Marketing Department primarily supporting the Creative team. This role will lead on the development of the overall layout and production design for not only the General RV brand but the advertisements across all media channels including print, digital, social, internal communications and internal projects. They also act as a mentor and aid in the personal development of the other Graphic Designers on the Creative team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of graphic design experience in an agency setting, digital and or traditional preferred.
  • A website with a portfolio showcasing your skills and previous work is required.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite specifically: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Past experience of mentoring junior employees.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in order to hit deadlines.
  • Requires strong written and verbal communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Requires excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Design visual assets for digital ads, social media, email, web, print, signage, presentations, and other marketing materials.
  • Create designs that support marketing goals and align with the General RV brand.
  • Maintain a consistent look and feel across all materials and platforms.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute campaigns.
  • Manage projects from concept through final delivery, including revisions and presentations.
  • Select photography, fonts, graphics, artwork, and other design elements.
  • Manage large data merges into print layouts while ensuring accuracy.
  • Present designs, explain creative decisions, and incorporate feedback.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to junior team members and review their work.
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices.
